How has being in the Bridgeland High School Band changed you as a person?

It has allowed me to be a performer but because of the massive group setting I don’t get anxious over it. I have learned how to perform and preserve.

How has band helped prepare you for life after high school?

It has taught me how to manage my time especially when it is so limited. Band takes up so much time that you have to learn how to manage your time and plan.

How has band helped you build frienships of a sense of belonging?

I have made many friends from band and some have changed my life. People in band are so kind and welcoming that it’s not hard to make friends.

Why do you believe programs like this deserve financial support from the community and businesses?

It makes the activity more accessible. Band is an expensive activity so making it cheaper can help those who want to participate but maybe can’t due to financial reasons.
